Dr. Cook is Board Certified by the American Board of Pathology and a Fellow in the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. His area of special interest is general surgical pathology with an emphasis in gynecologic (GYN) and genitourinary (GU) pathology.
Dr. Cook has been involved in organizing and presenting at the Centra GYN and GU cancer conferences for years. He also teaches GU pathology lectures at the Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He served as Chief Pathology Resident at the VCU/Medical College of Virginia where he received the Fergus O’M. Shiel Award for excellence in medical student teaching.
